About the role
This role involves loading wafers into production equipment, monitoring equipment operation, and ensuring product specifications are met within the manufacturing process.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications.
- Monitor equipment operation and process productivity, recognizing when adjustments are needed.
- Use analytical skills to determine strategies for wafer processing, including tool changeovers.
- Make minor corrections to processes and equipment, and identify when a technician or engineer is required.
- Perform production processes according to documented specifications and production schedules.
- Interface with computer systems for process diagnosis and interpretation using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
- Ability to carry pods of wafers weighing 15 pounds throughout the full shift.
- Ability to frequently climb 4-5 step stairs while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full shift.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
Nice to have
- Prior semiconductor or manufacturing experience.
- Stable work history.
