About the role

As Manager, Systems Software at NVIDIA, you will lead a team of approximately 10 engineers developing GPU stress application suites to validate GPU and SoC products at the system level. The team works across architecture, ASIC, silicon characterization, and system design groups to evaluate hardware margins and optimize manufacturing throughput.

What you'll do

  • Lead a team of software engineers, recruit technical talent, and mentor future technical leaders.
  • Run multiple concurrent projects through active prioritization and cross-functional communication.
  • Drive execution at scale and implement agent-driven workflows across the software development lifecycle for hardware bringup.
  • Collaborate across architecture, ASIC, silicon characterization, and operations teams to balance product quality, test yield, and manufacturing throughput.
  • Drive root cause analysis for critical system issues and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of overall system software experience working with large codebases and deep driver stacks, including 3+ years managing a team.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, kernel drivers, and device programming.
  • Experience driving feature development, cross-functional alignment, and complex system debugs.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of memory, graphics, compute, high speed interfaces, power management, or GPU and system level performance.
  • Prior management and project management experience.
  • Experience transitioning traditional software development workflows to agent-driven workflows.
