About the role
This role involves developing a multi-threaded and distributed physical synthesis core engine in the Innovus Implementation System. You will interact and collaborate with a global R&D team.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs in the areas of physical synthesis. - Work closely with product engineers and technical sales to provide engineering solutions and workarounds. - Collaborate with a global R&D team on physical synthesis core engine development.
What you'll need
- C/C++ software development experience in a Linux environment. - Strong understanding and extensive usage of data structures and algorithms. - MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. - Excellent problem solving skills and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of physical synthesis algorithms, timing analysis, and multithreading. - Prior R&D experience working on IC physical designs tools. - Hands-on experience using physical design tools for design closure and knowledge of physical design flows. - Experience with Tcl and other scripting languages.
