This role involves overseeing and contributing to Design-FMEA and Test-FMEA activities within R&D, focusing on yield improvement initiatives. The position requires strong expertise in optical and electrical sensor interfaces, particularly within the medical technology sector.
What you'll do
- Participate in and contribute to Design-FMEA and Test-FMEA activities throughout development projects.
- Drive yield improvement initiatives before and after production ramp-up.
- Act as the communication link between R&D and mass production during ramp-up phases.
- Lead focus teams and task forces by taking ownership of critical quality events.
- Manage corrective actions and maintain robust evidence to support fact-based decision-making.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree (or comparable) in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience with strong expertise in optical and electrical sensor interfaces.
- Experience in setting up laboratory equipment (Hardware and Software) for electrical failure analysis.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills in both German and English.
