About the role
This role involves pre-silicon RTL verification activities for PCIe Controller SoftIP development as part of the PCIe Express IP Products team. The focus is on PCI-Express and CXL controller technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop testbenches and test sequences for verifying new controller technologies and features.
- Plan functional coverage, code coverage items, and augment test suites to achieve coverage closure.
- Develop, monitor, triage, and debug regressions, implementing corrections to the test environment, sequences, and controller RTL design.
- Develop and support verification environment scripting and tooling capabilities.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 5-7 years of prior experience in HDL logic design and verification.
- Experience with SystemVerilog and/or UVM testbenches, Verilog/SystemVerilog logic design, and RTL familiarity.
Nice to have
- Pre-existing experience or familiarity with one or more I/O controller technologies such as PCI-Express.
- Working experience with Python and TCL scripting languages.
