About the role
This role will support engineering lab operations by maintaining lab infrastructure and installing and bringing up equipment.
What you'll do
- Maintain and implement lab infrastructure and equipment.
- Install and bring up lab equipment, switches, and network connectivity.
- Assemble and install Eridu systems and third-party hardware accessories.
- Support hardware setup, troubleshooting, and basic debugging activities.
- Configure switches and support basic Layer 2/LAN networking tasks.
- Maintain lab organization, equipment inventory, and documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Networking, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including switches, LAN, and Layer 2 concepts.
- Comfortable working with hardware, assembling equipment, and using basic hand tools.
- Strong willingness to learn and take on hands-on tasks.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where some tasks may involve physical setup and installation.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a lab environment through school projects, internships, or previous work experience.
- Familiarity with lab infrastructure, power systems, and network connectivity.
