About the role
This role focuses on providing premier customer support for Lam's semiconductor equipment throughout its lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Provide quality on-site repair and maintenance service for Lam’s equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate issues.
- Identify corrective actions and request guidance from experienced staff for severe malfunctions.
- Assist with installation, start-up, or relocation of equipment at customer sites through on-the-job training.
- Stay updated on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through continuous learning, training, and certification.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment or a cleanroom suit.
- Ability to frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to travel frequently, domestically and internationally, based on customer needs, with flexibility to work various shifts including overtime and on-call.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience working in the electronics field.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.
