Intern, Product Intelligence Engineering (AI/ML)

About the role
This internship role contributes to developing AI/ML analytics applications and scalable backend systems for semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will work on real development projects utilizing Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, gRPC, and containerized applications.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of backend services supporting the AI/ML analytics platform.
- Write clean, reliable, and well-tested code while developing and improving APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
- Work with large-scale telemetry and manufacturing equipment data.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and troubleshooting across the full software development lifecycle.
- Document technical approaches and project outcomes, and present results at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Programming experience through coursework, research, personal projects, previous internships, or similar hands-on work.
- Experience with or interest in learning Go and/or Python.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, and version control.
- Familiarity with Linux and database technologies such as PostgreSQL.

- Previous coursework, research, or project experience involving AI/ML applications.
