About the role
This role is an internship within the Applications team, focusing on the development and technical support for new Si and SiC devices. Responsibilities include defining development targets and validating performance for Si and SiC devices through comprehensive testing.
What you'll do
- Define and validate specifications for Si and SiC devices.
- Conduct comprehensive experiments to verify product performance.
- Design and build customized test circuits and automated test systems for product characterization.
- Provide technical support including design reviews, promotional material preparation, and customer issue troubleshooting.
- Develop evaluation boards for target applications.
- Prepare and deliver technical collateral such as datasheets, application notes, and user guides.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Basic understanding of Si and SiC MOSFET principles and their role in power electronics.
- Basic knowledge of power conversion systems.
- Proficiency in handling high-voltage power supplies, digital oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and DMMs for power electronics experiments.
