About the role
This internship supports development activities across hardware and software-centric design teams within the Client AI (Movidius NPU) group, focusing on Neural network IP (NPU) technology for AI applications.
What you'll do
- Support development activities across hardware and software development disciplines.
- Perform FPGA emulation, remote testing, and development farm operations.
- Test and validate product specifications and characteristics.
- Develop use case projects, including demo development, using prototyping hardware.
- Develop lab tools and services.
- Manage operational and business aspects including EHS, logistics & controlled technology, privacy (GDPR), and finance.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a Level 8 or Level 9 college course in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent course.
- Available for six to eight months in 2027, with a preferred starting date between January and June.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated team dynamics / ability to work as part of a high performing team.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in defining activities and direction.
- Good planning & organization skills.
