This Industrial Engineering Intern role at QORVO involves supporting Global Operations with projects and responsibilities determined by business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
What you'll do
- Develop and consolidate KPI and dashboards.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis.
- Identify process drift.
- Reduce work queues.
- Execute Lean Waste Reduction projects.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in cycle time, constraints, and efficiency.
- Generate documentation and present findings.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with computer databases (Oracle, SQL, Advanced Excel Macros programming).
- Experience with statistical and/or reporting tools such as Spotfire or Tableau.
- Experience with Wrike and SAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
