About the role
This role involves leading a production area within a wafer fabrication facility, focusing on operational performance and team development.
What you'll do
- Lead the safe and effective operation of your area, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
- Monitor area performance and take timely action on production issues, risks, and priorities.
- Manage and develop your team through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Plan staffing levels and skills coverage, including holiday, overtime, training, and area flexibility.
- Work closely with other Group Leaders, engineering, planning, and support functions to resolve issues and achieve Fab priorities.
- Use production data to identify trends, understand performance, and present clear updates and analysis.
What you'll need
- Ability to work four nights on and four nights off, from 7pm to 7am.
- Previous team leadership, deputy leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- Ability to lead, engage, and develop others.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, understand, analyze, and present production data.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow and apply company processes consistently.
