About the role
As a Tapeout and Mask Operations engineer, you will work with a global team of engineers and product owners on business transformation projects to streamline tapeout workflows. The work focuses on integrating Electronic Design Automation (EDA) functions, LSF cost analytics, and tapeout metrics in cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Enable scalable Electronic Design Automation (EDA) functions in a cloud environment. - Explore technologies and trends in tapeout interactive tool and app development, including AI/ML technologies and AWS services. - Create data visualizations and tools to view EDA tool outputs to bring process improvements and documentation. - Perform data analytics on tapeout processing key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize cloud tapeout execution. - Support customer tapeouts, mask manufacturing enablement, and Fab wafer start enablement.
What you'll need
- Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical and computer engineering, data science, or a related field with at least an overall 3.5 GPA. - Experience architecting and developing process improvement automations and KPI metrics using Python, Angular, QuickSight, and PowerApps in cloud platforms. - Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases to process tapeout and EDA data. - Knowledge of developing business process improvement tools in the cloud utilizing out-of-the-box services. - Knowledge of the project lifecycle and exposure to project management tools (ADO, JIRA) and integration pipeline tools (Bamboo, GIT, Jenkins). - English fluency (written and verbal).

- Prior related internship or co-op experience. - Knowledge of or experience working within the semiconductor domain (Foundry).
