About the role
Foundry PDK / Collateral Integration Engineers manage the acquisition, installation, environment setup, and validation of foundry design collateral and PDKs. The role focuses on establishing standardized environments and validation pipelines for foundry deliverables such as TSMC PDKs and IP bundles.
What you'll do
- Coordinate secure download of foundry collateral, including TSMC PDKs and IP bundles, from approved channels while tracking delivery schedules and completeness versus plan. - Enforce NDA and access-control policies for restricted foundry data. - Install and configure PDKs, rule decks, models, and libraries in standardized environments while maintaining directory structures for multi-node support. - Align toolchain versions with foundry recommendations. - Execute the PDK validation pipeline, including unit testing for DRC, LVS, ERC, and PERC, models, and libraries. - Run smoke testing of end-to-end CAD flows and regression testing against prior PDK releases to ensure all validation checkpoints are satisfied.
What you'll need
- Experience acquiring, configuring, and maintaining foundry collateral and PDKs. - Hands-on background with physical verification and electrical rule checks, including DRC, LVS, ERC, and PERC rule decks. - Experience establishing directory structures, environment setups, and toolchain version alignments for CAD flows. - Background running PDK validation pipelines, CAD flow smoke tests, and regression testing across releases.
