About the role
This role operates as a hybrid software engineer and technical consultant embedded within strategic customers to implement, customize, and scale AI and edge technology into real-world infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Write production-grade code including custom data pipelines, API integrations, and MLOps/AI workflows.
- Embed on-site with clients, partnering across CSG, VBU, SDP, and Edge AI teams.
- Frame customer problems and own the technical architecture that solves them.
- Drive rapid iteration and field learning to deliver measurable customer outcomes.
- Produce reusable, company-owned assets that create defensible wedges.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience building production software.
- Strong Python proficiency along with hands-on experience building data pipelines, APIs, and MLOps/AI workflows.
- Experience deploying and debugging software on-site in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into technical architecture.
- Willingness to travel and embed directly with strategic clients.
Nice to have
- Background in Edge AI, LLM/agentic systems, or signal-processing.
- Prior experience in forward-deployed, field engineering, or solutions-engineering roles.
