Deploy and integrate edge AI software on NVIDIA Jetson platforms in customer environments.
About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Syntiant, you will integrate and deploy Syntiant software on new platforms on-site in customer environments. You will work directly with target hardware to troubleshoot deployment issues and support technical outcomes for federal business projects.
What you'll do
- Integrate and deploy software on new customer platforms in field environments.
- Work directly with target hardware to troubleshoot technical and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with customers and end-users, including non-technical stakeholders, to support project goals.
- Travel to customer sites, including test ranges and military installations, for up to two weeks at a time.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong C++ and Python development experience.
- Experience working with Embedded Linux and large, complex codebases.
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
- U.S. citizenship with an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Computer Vision or Audio experience.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicles.
