This role focuses on enabling new SerDes and Optical Technologies within NVIDIA's FW PHY Group.
About the role
This role is for a Firmware Design Engineer to work closely with NVIDIA's FW development, architecture, and chip design teams. The position involves implementing FW functionality in signal processing units of NVIDIA products and taking an active part in silicon bring-up and SW development phases.
What you'll do
- Enable new SerDes and Optical Technologies.
- Implement FW functionality in signal processing units of NVIDIA products.
- Define, implement, and maintain FW algorithms to control the Silicon.
- Develop and test FW on emulation & simulation environments during the Pre-silicon phase.
- Debug and screen HW/FW/SW issues.
What you'll need
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient programming in C.
- Debugging experience and ability to investigate and triage problems in embedded FW.
