About the role
This role involves managing financial reporting, tax compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives for legal entities in the responsible territory.
What you'll do
- Coordinate period-end closing activities and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Manage the statutory financial reporting process and external reporting requirements.
- Act as the audit engagement coordinator for external auditors and assist with documentation for statutory audit compliance.
- Ensure local tax filings and reporting comply with all tax regulations and laws.
- Monitor new tax regulations, evaluate their impact, and ensure continuous tax compliance.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes and oversee improvements in the control framework.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field.
- 6 or more years of work experience in an accounting or finance role in Big 4 or an international business environment.
- Knowledge of / experience with applicable accounting rules in relation to US GAAP / IFRS / Local GAAP and related processes.
- Strong understanding and experience of financial accounting systems (SAP, Oracle) and processes.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese.
Nice to have
- CPA license is preferred.
