About the role

This role involves managing the sourcing strategy for datacenter rack development, integration, contract manufacturing, and key vendor partnerships across critical hardware modules.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute global strategic sourcing strategies for rack and key hardware component categories.
• Lead commercial negotiations, supplier selections, RFXs, and pricing agreements.
• Manage supplier relationship management (SRM) programs, including executive business reviews (EBRs) and supplier scorecards.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering to assess market capabilities, influence design for total cost of ownership, and mitigate single-source risks.
• Collaborate with Legal and Contract Management to draft, finalize, and execute commercial and engineering contracts.
• Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction initiatives while supporting rapid hardware iteration schedules.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, global supply management, or procurement within high-tech, rack manufacturing, or advanced hardware industries.
• Proven track record of negotiating complex multi-million dollar contracts and securing favorable commercial terms with tier-1 suppliers.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to converse effectively with hardware architects and domain engineering leads.
• Deep familiarity with supply chain dynamics, risk management, and vendor cost structure analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and strategic leadership capabilities.
