This role supports the IR Optics & Materials Division and the Optical Solutions Business Unit.

About the role

This role is responsible for financial support, including financial reporting, planning, analysis, manufacturing support, and accounting.

What you'll do

Process financial transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations for monthly closings.
Partner with shared services and global finance members to review and validate monthly financial information.
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on key financial metrics with appropriate analysis.
Analyze gross margin and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist controller with preparation of 5 Year Plan, Budget, & Forecasts.
Prepare budget/forecast schedules for management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting.
Experience with ERP systems, specifically Advanced Oracle and Hyperion.
Experience partnering with Shared Services and other functions outside of the accounting team.
Cost Accounting and inventory management.
Advanced Excel Skills.

CPA, CMA, or MBA.
2 years Financial Planning & Analysis experience with knowledge of profit and loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
