About the role
This role involves providing technical support and driving design wins for customers in the Industrial and Automotive sectors, focusing on semiconductor products such as Gate Drivers, Voltage Sensors, and Communication Couplers.
What you'll do
- Drive new business opportunity development and secure mass-production design wins/orders through product promotion and technical support.
- Conduct regular technical and market discussions with customers to understand their requirements and product roadmaps.
- Translate customer requirements and market trends into actionable input for Broadcom product divisions.
- Provide technical support throughout the customer engagement cycle, from initial product introduction to mass production.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 15 years of professional experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE), Technical Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and business/marketing acumen.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and market needs of Industrial and Automotive OEM customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global product marketing and engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Good understanding of Factory Automation and Automotive applications and markets, including Inverters, Servo motors, Battery systems, Renewable energy, and Automotive powertrain systems.
- Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent).
- Strong relationship-management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
