About the role
This role involves on-site support at customer wafer fabrication sites, focusing on equipment installation, training, and identifying design improvements. The position requires familiarity with customer wafer fabrication processing flow and techniques, addressing potential integration challenges with systems.
What you'll do
- Understand customer technology roadmaps, process flow, and requirements.
- Coordinate with Global Product Group on product demonstrations and execution of penetration and defense strategy.
- Perform startup of "capacity add" Lam systems and match results to existing systems and applications.
- Design and complete simple Design of Experiment (DOE) evaluations to characterize process window for new installations or field hardware modifications/upgrades.
- Conduct experiments and tests, collect and analyze data, and generate reports.
- Develop new processes for new and/or existing customer applications.
What you'll need
- Bachelors of Science in Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Physics, Material Science, or related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Ability to actively engage customers on technical solutions.
- Ability to work in a Fab environment and perform standby duties.
- Ability to wear personal protective clothing including air respirator equipment, clean room garments, and safety shoes.
- Willingness to support short term, overseas assignments.
Nice to have
- Masters of Science.
- Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.
