About the role
This Facilities Engineering Intern role at QORVO involves enhancing facilities system safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
What you'll do
- Identify and execute projects to enhance facilities system safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Perform deep dives of critical facilities systems to identify system optimization.
- Troubleshoot system faults and resolve interruptions.
- Update and optimize the Facilities Tool Utility Matrix.
- Update building and facilities equipment documentation, including as-built drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sequence of Operations (SOOs), System Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Preventative Maintenance plans (PMs).
- Support process equipment installation.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed at least one course in thermodynamics or fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCad.
