About the role
The Fab Product Engineer owns product performance throughout fab manufacturing and testing, investigating yield issues, bin shifts, and performance changes. This role involves electrical failure analysis with SORT testers and supporting customer returns through expertise in fab processes and test flows.
What you'll do
- Own product performance throughout fab manufacturing and testing.
- Investigate yield issues, bin shifts, and performance changes using statistical and electrical analysis.
- Work with process and test engineering to drive improvements.
- Perform electrical failure analysis with SORT testers and initiate deeper failure analysis efforts.
- Support customer returns through expertise in fab processes and test flows.
- Guide associate engineers and technicians, and work with other groups on assembly-level and customer-related concerns.
What you'll need
- BS degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Technical expertise in product, performance, data analysis, and testing characterization.
- Ability to organize and lead projects.
- Solid understanding of device physics, transistor fundamentals, probability and statistics, product design and functionality, fab process technology, wafer-level and SORT test methodologies, parametric test behavior, WET tester/probecard operation, and reliability physics.
Nice to have
- MS or PhD degree.
- Experience working with testers and SORT yield testing methodologies.
