About the role
Equipment Maintenance Technicians perform preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines. This position supports manufacturing on C Shift in the Metals area.
What you'll do
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating, and repair manuals. - Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems and implement corrective actions. - Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on production equipment, rebuilding tools and sub-assemblies as required. - Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers and complete required documentation for quality standards. - Handle process chemicals and gases while maintaining critical spares and consumables inventory. - Participate in Maintenance and cross-functional teams such as 5S+ and CIP, taking ownership of small projects.
What you'll need
- 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing, or equivalent military training/work experience. - Demonstrated expertise in electro/mechanical/fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification. - Experience using hand tools, wrenches, calipers, voltage/current meters, and oscilloscopes. - Proficiency with Windows OS interfaces and MS Office suite. - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, work 12-hour shifts, work with and around chemicals, and wear complete fab attire for an entire shift. - Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor industry experience. - Working knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic pump systems, multi axis servo systems, vision components, chillers, and cooling systems. - Familiarity with robotic/automated handling systems and vacuum systems.
