About the role
Equipment Maintenance Technicians perform preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and installation of semiconductor fabrication equipment. This position supports the Metro/Photo tool area on C Shift.
What you'll do
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble semiconductor fabrication equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating, and repair manuals. - Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on semiconductor production equipment. - Use test and diagnostic equipment, including voltage/current meters and oscilloscopes, to identify root cause problems and implement corrective actions. - Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies and perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. - Handle process chemicals and gases while maintaining critical spares and consumables inventory. - Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards and participate in 5S+ and CIP initiatives.
What you'll need
- 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent military training / work experience. - 5+ Years of Semiconductor Equipment Experience. - Demonstrated expertise in performing electro/mechanical/fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification. - Proficiency using hand tools including wrenches, calipers, voltage/current meters, and oscilloscopes. - Competence with Windows OS interfaces and MS Office suite. - Status as a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

- Familiarity with robotic / automated handling systems & high vacuum systems.
