About the role
This role involves performing electro-mechanical technical functions and activities for semiconductor equipment. The position focuses on testing and troubleshooting system and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems on AMAT platforms.
What you'll do
- Perform electro-mechanical technical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting.
- Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms to Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.

- Capability to provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.

- Strong communication skills to regularly exchange information.
