About the role
This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations on semiconductor equipment within a fab environment. You will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve issues efficiently.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation.
- Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze data to improve and maintain tool performance.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs.
- Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to technical problems.
What you'll need
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
- Ability to work 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
Nice to have
- Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance.
- Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
- Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
