About the role
This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, resolve quality issues, and continuously improve processes to protect product quality and reliability within a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment.
What you'll do
- Drive, monitor, and continuously improve fab quality metrics with a strong focus on Zero Defects.
- Review and follow-up on customer complaints (IQA failures, field returns, RMAs, FAs).
- Establish, maintain, and sustain robust Quality Systems, including specifications, SPC, change management, supplier quality controls, and MRB processes for NCM.
- Perform internal audits of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need
- BS in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
- 5-7+ years experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment, including Quality experience.
- Demonstrated experience using industry-standard Quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Poka-Yoke, 5S.
- Experience with 1 or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100.
- Understanding of statistical tools (SPC, DOE) for use in making data-driven decisions.
- US Citizen or US Person required.
Nice to have
- Certified auditor/lead auditor to 1 or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100.
- ASQ certification as CQM, CQE, CRE and/or formal Six Sigma training (Green/Black Belt certification).
- Familiarity with AIAG process standards for PPAP, FMEA.
- Experience reviewing contracts.
