About the role
This role involves creating tools to assist customers in integrating Analog Devices products into their designs. The Product Applications Engineer will provide practical solutions to customer issues and develop a system-level understanding of application segments.
What you'll do
- Assist customers in integrating ADI products by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Create and enhance application tools, reference boards, and software to demonstrate product capabilities.
- Conduct road testing to validate product specifications and operational boundaries.
- Develop clear, comprehensive technical documentation and application notes.
- Evaluate competitor products and evaluation kits to provide strategic insights.
- Work with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to streamline product development.
What you'll need
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of system-level architecture.
- Proficiency in creating application tools, reference boards, and software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience conducting thorough testing to validate specifications.
- Ability to clearly convey complex technical information through documentation and presentations.
- Thorough understanding of semiconductor products and their applications.
- Capability to evaluate competing products and technologies.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience with analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products.
- Familiarity with customer design cycles and integration challenges.
