About the role
This role involves the operation and improvement of Linux-based servers, storage, and related infrastructure supporting semiconductor design and development, based at the Musashi office.
What you'll do
- Operate and improve Linux-based servers, storage, and related infrastructure for semiconductor design and development.
- Assist in resolving technical and operational issues by collaborating with engineering teams, infrastructure personnel, and external partners.
- Promote operational transfer, standardization, and continuous improvement activities related to EDA infrastructure.
- Coordinate with internal departments, infrastructure personnel, vendors, and sales agents in Japan.
- Communicate status, issues, and action plans to stakeholders in Japanese and English.
- Support hardware quotation acquisition, investment applications, ordering, and related processes as needed.
What you'll need
- On-site work and direct coordination with stakeholders at the Musashi office.
- Experience in building, operating, or troubleshooting Linux/Unix server environments.
- Basic knowledge of servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (users, infrastructure personnel, vendors) to resolve issues.
- Ability to read emails and technical documents in English.
- Fluent Japanese (business level).
