About the role
This role drives platform software and enablement strategy across Arm platforms aimed at the mobile and consumer compute segment. You will guide readiness across reference platforms, firmware, operating systems, and tooling while balancing internal validation with ecosystem-facing upstream enablement.
What you'll do
- Establish and lead the strategy for platform software, firmware, and reference build enablement across Arm platforms for mobile and consumer compute. - Translate partner and market requirements into concrete technical needs across firmware, platform software, OS enablement, and tooling. - Lead downstream software stacks across simulation, emulation, FPGA, and testchip reference platforms to validate new technologies. - Drive platform bring-up and feature validation across software environments including firmware, Linux, Android, and Windows variants. - Partner with architecture, silicon, firmware, software, and IP teams to align downstream validation with upstream ecosystem readiness. - Work with ecosystem partners, OEMs, and silicon vendors to resolve feature readiness gaps across kernels, frameworks, development tools, and power methodologies.
What you'll need
- Experience in software product leadership, platform software, or ecosystem enablement in a customer-facing environment. - Strong understanding of system software, firmware, platform bring-up, or OS enablement. - Demonstrated experience defining strategy and execution for software bridging early technology validation and productization. - Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into partner value, requirements, and roadmap priorities. - Strong cross-functional leadership skills across business and engineering organizations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to align senior stakeholders on scope, priorities, and delivery models.
Nice to have
- Experience with Arm architecture, Arm-based SoCs, or Arm platform software. - Familiarity with client or compute platform bring-up across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. - Experience with Android upstreaming, kernel enablement, performance tooling, telemetry, power measurement, or compiler/toolchain integration. - Experience leading the transition from prototype or research code into stable, maintainable, customer-ready software. - Knowledge of ecosystem enablement challenges for advanced features spanning firmware, OS, tooling, and applications. - Experience managing release alignment constraints tied to Android or other OS release cycles.
