About the role
This role involves owning and driving the development of MEMS for SiTime precision timing products. You will combine strategic leadership with tactical hands-on execution of projects on the corporate roadmap.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of MEMS engineers to solve MEMS timing problems.
- Scale the team and foster innovation and execution excellence through coaching, career advancement, and hiring.
- Lead development of new MEMS technologies, enhance existing devices, and improve measurement or simulation infrastructure.
- Interface with local and overseas vendors and establish new partnerships.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to deliver scalable, predictable development execution.
What you'll need
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of industry experience in MEMS or specialty sensor development.
- Demonstrated success leading and delivering complex MEMS development programs.
- Proven record of building and leading high-performance engineering teams of 5+ engineers.
- Hands-on technical credibility across MEMS design, fabrication, characterization, and modeling.
- Strong technical and business judgment with ability to innovate, design experiments, and interpret complex data.
- Working knowledge of programing languages, circuits, metrology equipment, and methods.
Nice to have
- 15+ years of industry experience in MEMS or specialty sensor development.
- Experience with MEMS timing.
