About the role
As Director - Analog Design, you will lead a team impacting analog/mixed signal innovations across the Advanced Solutions Group. Your team will focus on developing power-management and clock management systems used across multiple product lines and as standalone discrete products.
What you'll do
- Drive development and verification of analog blocks and mixed signal CMOS designs.
- Drive discussions on analog circuit requirements, technical issues, and design aspects.
- Build circuits based on IP specifications, drive layout design, and IP characterization.
- Execute analog designs following best practices for on-time quality design releases.
- Debug complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory and support team debug efforts.
- Provide technical leadership including IC specification, project planning, design team management, and layout supervision.
What you'll need
- Master's in VLSI design, or a related field, with a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication, or a related field.
- 15 to 25 years of experience in semiconductor chip design.
- Proven experience in project management with a specialization in analog semiconductor chip design.
- Strong technical background in high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Working knowledge of Cadence Circuit design tools.
- Experience with CMOS designs.
