About the role
This role involves transistor level circuit design, modeling, and performance analysis for processor design in deep submicron technologies and standard cell library designs.
What you'll do
- Work on new cell architectures and optimization for PPA improvement.
- Analyze layout and identify parasitic reducing options to improve cell PPA.
- Participate in technical discussions on new standard cell circuit development.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure IP production and quality.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in your penultimate year of studies in CE, EE, CS or related field (or final year for a required internship).
- Enrolled as a student for the full duration of the internship.
- Fluent English language skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have
- Preliminary understanding of CMOS circuits, device characteristics, and PPA oriented design.
- Understanding of layout design and driving PPA via parasitic optimization, in addition to SPICE simulators.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, and Tcl.
