About the role

This role is responsible for leading a marketing team and activating AMD’s commercial channel marketing strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).

What you'll do

  • Develop and guide the marketing team while executing regional campaigns and customer activities.
  • Set the channel marketing direction for the DACH region, aligning with EMEA strategy and partnering with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities with key customers in cooperation with in-country Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Own the end-to-end budgeting process for assigned key customers and regional AMD-led activities.
  • Drive AMD-led above and below the line marketing activities.
  • Provide regular KPI and ROI analysis on AMD-led marketing initiatives and customer activities.
  • Work with external agencies and internal partners to develop or update EMEA specific marketing content and assets.
  • Proofread, alter, and/or copyright marketing content and assets.
  • Create and design PowerPoint decks for internal and external presentations.

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated team leadership experience, including coaching, prioritizing work and delivering results through others.
  • Experience in working closely with sales and account teams to develop collaborative marketing plans.
  • Profound understanding of the EMEA IT industry.
  • Experience in social media and digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in marketing planning, field marketing, event management, and project/campaign management.
  • Proven knowledge of software tools, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and manage multiple programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in German and English.
  • Master’s degree or similar, preferred degree in Marketing, Economics or Business Studies.

Nice to have

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
