About the role
As a CAD Engineer specializing in design verification (DV), you will develop automation tools and flows, enable EDA tools for DV teams, and explore and apply ML/AI technologies to improve the DV workflow.
What you'll do
- Apply engineering principles to develop and optimize CAD tools and flows to enhance productivity and efficiency. - Explore and apply ML/AI technologies to improve design verification workflows and integrate new learnings into company processes. - Enable EDA tools for design verification teams and propose solutions to improve CAD automation capabilities. - Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements across automation processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related experience (or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years). - Experience in CAD, design verification, or related domains. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make, and JavaScript. - Demonstrated experience in developing automation processes, tools, and flows.
Nice to have
- Knowledge in VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) design and verification. - Experience with EDA tools.
