About the role
This role provides day-to-day support of CAD tools, flows, and collateral to DRAM design teams worldwide. It enables all aspects of mixed-signal, transistor-level custom IC design from logical design through tape out and mask generation.
What you'll do
- Support CAD tools, flows, and collateral provided by CAD teams to DRAM design teams worldwide. - Enable mixed-signal, transistor-level custom IC design, covering logical design, custom layout, parameterized cells, automated place and route, DRC, LVS, ERC, parasitic extraction, and netlisting. - Support digital and analog circuit simulation, timing and power analysis, and reliability simulation and analysis, including HCI, BTI, and EM/IR. - Partner with DRAM design, layout, and verification methodology teams to co-develop capabilities and deploy methodology practices across DRAM designs. - Conduct research and development in IC design automation and machine learning to build ML-based solutions for IC design.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience. - Experience with VLSI design and CMOS circuits. - Experience with IC design and EDA tools. - Experience with design verification, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extractions. - Software programming and development experience, including Python, TCL, and SKILL scripting. - Experience with CAD software development and support.
