About the role
This role involves developing and executing outsourced manufacturing strategies for discrete and module products.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute outsourced manufacturing strategies with key assembly and test partners.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement to improve yield, cycle time, quality, and manufacturing performance.
- Lead commercial and cost management activities, including pricing negotiations and cost optimization.
- Manage new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, and manufacturing development projects.
- Define and maintain packaging, test, and manufacturing technology roadmaps.
- Oversee supply chain and sourcing initiatives, including out-of-China manufacturing strategies and production readiness.
What you'll need
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, OSAT management, backend operations, or supply chain leadership.
- Business and commercial acumen, with experience in supplier management, pricing negotiations, investment planning, and strategic sourcing.
- Proven ability to influence and hold external manufacturing partners accountable.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor backend processes, including assembly, packaging, testing, capacity planning, and outsourced manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, ideally with an established network within the semiconductor/OSAT industry.
