About the role
This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence at customer sites by delivering quality technical assistance and solutions. You will support hardware-related equipment installation, subsystem calibration, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational effectiveness.
What you'll do
- Install and/or relocate Lam’s complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems equipment at customer sites and conduct associated start-up, cutover, and check-out activities.
- Minimize machine downtime or system interruptions by performing on-site preventive maintenance and attending to equipment abnormalities.
- Utilize analytical problem-solving methodology to eliminate equipment malfunctions, isolate issues to the component level, and take corrective actions.
- Provide clear and comprehensive pass-down information to relevant stakeholders for effective follow-up on machine status and customer support continuity.
- Provide hardware support for Tier 2 process qualification activities.
- Keep up to date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through learning, training, and certification.
What you'll need
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit.
- Ability to frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manual.

- Recent graduates from Local Polytechnics (Singapore Polytechnic / Ngee Ann Polytechnic / Republic Polytechnic / Nanyang Polytechnic & Temasek Polytechnic).
