About the role
As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications and ensuring quality control standards are met.
What you'll do
- Read, understand, and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Perform mechanical assembly of products within acceptable quality and output levels using hand tools safely and properly.
- Inspect products to identify non-conformance.
- Operate pass/fail test equipment such as ALTF and PD Test.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness adhering to 5S standards and follow site requirements for hazardous waste and recyclable materials disposal.
What you'll need
- Previous experience with opto-electronics and PCB commodities.
- Working experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma environments.
- Basic knowledge and practice of ESD and 5S principles.
- Safety and chemical awareness.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift boxes up to 25 pounds.
