About the role
This role involves providing applications engineering support for the Synopsys PrimeTime Static Timing Analysis tool across various customer engagement phases.
What you'll do
- Support Synopsys PrimeTime Static Timing Analysis tool during pre-sale evaluations, post-sale deployments, and ongoing customer engagements.
- Drive product adoption by running competitive benchmarks, leading customer evaluations, and articulating technical advantages.
- Deliver customer training sessions, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops for PrimeTime.
- Provide tape-out support by troubleshooting complex timing issues and resolving signal integrity problems.
- Collaborate with R&D, product marketing, and sales teams to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices guides, and knowledge base resources.
What you'll need
- Deep hands-on expertise in Synopsys PrimeTime STA tool, including advanced features and timing analysis methodologies.
- Strong understanding of timing corners, process variations, and signal integrity issues affecting timing closure.
- Familiarity with synthesis, physical design, extraction, and ECO methodologies and their integration with static timing analysis workflows.
- Proficiency in TCL scripting for automation, tool customization, and workflow optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles, delivering technical training or presentations.
- BSEE or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE or equivalent with 4 years of experience in applications engineering, design, or verification roles.
