About the role
As an Applications Development Engineer in the e-Beam division, you will characterize inspection and review equipment and support product adoption across semiconductor manufacturing fabs.
What you'll do
- Characterize new systems and features by designing and conducting experiments, collecting data, and publishing results in application notes, best known methods, or characterization studies.
- Drive product penetration, adoption, and process optimization at customer fab facilities by applying expertise on KLA equipment and customer fabrication processes.
- Train customers and field applications engineers, manage local escalation processes, investigate technical problems, and deliver solutions.
- Conduct final acceptance testing, perform product demonstrations, and support competitive benchmarking and performance group analysis.
- Support pre-sale and post-sale technical activities and report technology developments and new applications to Marketing.
- Travel up to 50% on short notice, with trips lasting between 4 to 8 weeks.
What you'll need
