About the role
This role involves the design and development of analog IP blocks for power management products, including LED drivers, SiC/MOS/IGBT/motor/GAN drivers, Switches, and efuses.
What you'll do
- Design and develop analog IP blocks from definition to delivery.
- Perform block/IP level design and simulation, presenting results to the review team.
- Guide layout engineers and monitor IP block layout progress.
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams for Si performance measurement.
- Own technical outcomes for design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management IPs.
- Plan and execute work in alignment with the full chip schedule.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related with 8+ years of experience, or MS with 7+ years of experience.
- Solid track record of delivering block/IP level design.
- Experience with IP design, simulation methods, boundary conditions, stress and reliability simulations, PVT/PMC/SOA simulations.
- Understanding of LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators, gm-stages, and charge pumps.
- Strong Analog IC design skills and ability to debug complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing.
- Understanding of power transistor Design, Layout, and Robustness.
- Experience with system tools like Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations, and Cadence Spectre for schematic capture and simulation.
