Qualcomm is seeking an Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to work on Sensor IP.
About the role
This role involves the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for Sensor IP for Qualcomm Mobile, Auto, IoT & Compute SoC products. The focus is on low-power and low-voltage mixed-signal design in FinFET technology nodes, including 3nm.
What you'll do
- Architecture, design, and development of analog / mixed signal hard macros.
- Perform custom circuit design in FinFET CMOS process technologies.
- Create design specifications.
- Set-up, run, and analyse circuit simulations.
- Perform silicon characterization analysis and prepare silicon verification reports.
- Deliver hard macros and support customer integration and testing.
What you'll need
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-years of transistor level analog mixed-signal design experience.
- Experience in SPICE simulators and schematic capture tools.
- Experience in designing op-amps, bandgaps, differential amplifiers, VCO, AFE, and/or ADCs.
- Full-custom analog layout techniques and the ability to take a design and do all the layout extract verification and sign-off.
- Scripting to automate circuit design and verification work.
Nice to have
- Good understanding of device physics.
- Good understanding of power distribution networks (PDN).
- Good understanding of mixed-signal design flow.
- Good understanding of SoC top-level integration and IC Design Tools.
