About the role
This Analog Design Engineering Intern position involves contributing to the design of various functional blocks including LNA, switch, DSA, SOI analog blocks, and RF Modules.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design of functional blocks including LNA, switch, DSA, SOI analog blocks, and RF Modules.
- Meet performance requirements while considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule.
- Produce designs with challenging specifications requiring trade studies.
- Adapt to new customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality.
- Contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data as part of a team.
- Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Completed analog/RF circuit design coursework with a focus on LDO, bandgaps circuits, differential amplifiers, and operational amplifiers.
- Completed analog layout courses with a focus on Common Centroid layout, Interdigitated layout, and use of dummy devices.
- Software experience with Cadence Virtuoso, PVS, Assembler, and Explorer.
- Exposure to software including ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Dynamic Link, Python, Spotfire, and Matlab.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
