About the role

This role involves designing, implementing, and verifying analog/mixed-signal IC designs for various motion sensor products.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and verify analog/mixed-signal IC designs.
  • Evaluate system-level trade-offs for sensor interfaces and identify IC architectures.
  • Collaborate with digital design engineers on sensor architectures and digital signal processing circuits.
  • Guide layout engineers on physical design, reviewing and providing feedback.
  • Tape-out designs on schedule adhering to required specifications.
  • Evaluate and validate designs in the lab and implement corrective actions for deviations.

What you'll need

  • MSEE +8 Years or PhD EE +5 Years of industry experience in analog or mixed-signal CMOS circuit design.
  • Thorough understanding of analog and mixed signal systems and micro-architecture trade-offs.
  • Proven track record of designing low-power, low-noise, precision switched-capacitor CMOS analog amplifier (OPAMP), or analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for high volume manufacturing.
  • Strong skills in designing MEMS sense amplifiers (precision switched-capacitor OPAMP), Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), Bandgap references, Charge pumps, and Oscillator circuits.
  • Experience as IC lead on at least one project with demonstrated success.
  • Experience with design for test approaches and development of characterization and production test plans.
  • Lab and test equipment skills for the debug, characterization, and validation of designs.

Skills: CMOS circuit design, analog-to-digital converter, OPAMP, mixed-signal, lab validation
