About the role
This role involves analog circuit design for low-power Gecko MCUs and Wireless MCUs within Silicon Labs' IoT product portfolio. You will contribute to the EFR32 and EFM32 MCU and Wireless product portfolios.
What you'll do
- Take advanced analog design tasks through all phases from initial idea to implementation.
- Engage in specification, architecture, design, verification, layout, and lab measurement.
- Collaborate with other analog teams, digital teams, software teams, and marketing to define and deliver key features.
- Work on the low power Gecko MCU and Wireless MCU platform.
What you'll need
- Background in Analog Circuit Design.
- M.S. or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering covering analog circuit design topics.
- Knowledge of MOS transistors and analog/digital circuit design.
- MOS Device modeling skills (noise, excess thermal noise, DIBL, GIDL, NBTI).
- Design skills and knowledge related to building blocks (e.g., OPAMP, power management circuits, ADC, DAC, oscillators, memories, bandgap references, PLL).
- Understanding of layout tradeoffs for performance and size.
- Verification skills (e.g., circuit simulation).
- Laboratory measurement skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cadence design tools.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with Matlab.
- Experience with Python.
