About the role

This role focuses on the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS Image Sensors, including pixel arrays, column-amplifiers, and data converters.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS Image Sensors using Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Perform whole chip floorplan design and pad frame, collaborating with layout engineers on integration.
  • Conduct sub-blocks and whole image sensor readout circuit simulation using Analog FastSPICE, Empyrean ALPS, and NanoSpice.
  • Perform design verification using Siemens Caliber for DRC, LVS, and PERC checks.
  • Define and design analog to digital interfaces in collaboration with Digital Engineers.
  • Debug, characterize, and optimize performance of fabricated image sensors, processing column readout data using Excel and MATLAB.

What you'll need

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electro-Optics, or a related field with graduate-level coursework in Analog IC Design, Data Converters, and VLSI Circuits and Technology.
  • Skills in layout design and floor planning.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso for circuit design and layout.
  • Experience with Analog FastSPICE, Empyrean ALPS, and NanoSpice for circuit simulation.
  • Proficiency with Siemens Caliber for DRC, LVS, and PERC checks.
