About the role

This role involves leading an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing. You will be developing solutions in the areas of consumer electronics, mobile computing, and communications.

What you'll do

  • Lead an Analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to manufacturing release.
  • Direct, guide, and participate in designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts, components, and integrated circuits.
  • Make assignments for team members, provide design guidance, develop schedules, and monitor project progress.
  • Evaluate intermediate and final project results during design and silicon evaluation to ensure technical objectives are met.
  • Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
  • Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase to ensure completion of all technical tasks.
  • Work with systems engineers, application engineers, and marketing to define products, prepare briefs, datasheets, and application notes.
  • Collaborate with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams for successful transfer to production.
  • Interface with customers and TI field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs and provide support.
  • Participate in hiring, developing, and evaluating personnel for efficient operation and individual growth.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
